Considering news brief options

I want to provide clear suggestions without being too verbose, so I’m thinking of listing options. I might write a short 120-200 character Chinese news brief without external references. There’s some ambiguity here, so I could either ask what they want or offer a sample. I’ll suggest two options: providing a brief now or asking them for their preferred style. I plan to give one example to clarify what they would receive.
